Sapphire Princess Baltic Cruise
Enjoy a fantastic cruise to the Baltic
The Baltic is a destination I really love, having done it twice I would still go back again. Sailing on “Sapphire Princess” out of Southampton you visit some wonderful cities.
The main highlight of the cruise being St. Petersburg with an overnight stay. This city has so much to offer and I have an exclusive deal with the Number 1 sightseeing company in St. Petersburg. They can get you into the Hermitage via the VIP entrance, so no queuing like you would have on a ships tour. We give you official documentation so you can come off the ship without the need for a Russian Visa. You can only come off visa free if you are either or a ships tour or private tour and you pass through immigration before going into the terminal. If you wanted to just see the shops in the terminal you cannot without a visa, so the best way to see them is if you are on a tour as you have plenty of time on your return to ship.
St. Petersburg has so much to offer and this is why you need at least 2 days there, even then you won’t see everything. The Hermitage, Peterhoff, Catherine’s Palace, boat trip along the canal to give you a different view of the buildings and The Hermitage to name just a few of the places you can visit. The beauty of the tours I have access to is that it can be made more personal for you. If you saw somewhere en route that you wished to go to, like a client did the other year, ask your guide and normally this can be arranged and any entrance fees obviously would be additional. This is also the reason all my clients to the Baltic, book their tour with me and really appreciate it when they are out there and say how much nicer than the hussle and rush of the ships ones the majority of the guests had been on. Also when I went they organised the two days around what I wished to see, which couldn’t have been done from the ship.
This really is a destination you should visit once at least for sure.
